The second prototype was made over two days. Four people from the community came to FEM’s office, where a sewing machine was setup to create the new prototype. In cooperation the four people help each other in the weaving and sewing process. They members of the community brought a lot of material that was already woven and ready to sew from. The cardboard mockup was used as a reference of size and shape. The four people supplemented each other in their skills, and in this way a new prototype was created. A lot of problems occurred during the sewing process, difficulties with the machines cost a lot of time and patience. The motivation of the community was very high, and because of this everything worked out.
